What Control Arms Fit A Ke70

just wanting to know what parts i will need to get positive camber on my ke70? i know corona control arms fit and sigma also do, just not too sure on what models does tho? if anyone can help me on this one it will be appreciated

Most people install the sigma and corona arms to get NEGATIVE camber. You're trying to get positive camber so you'll need a shorter lower control arm. The only way I see you can get positive camber is to get camber tops.

 

If you really meant negative camber (which I think you did :lolcry: ), the corona you should get your arms from are the xt130 models. Not too sure about the sigma ones though. No other modifications are needed for the corona arms. Sigma you'll need other things, can't remember what they were.

ke70's stock have like +1 camber

have you got positive and negative camber mixed up?

 

positive camber--> \-------/ (looking at tyres from front)

 

negative camber--> /--------\ (again looking from front)

 

if its negative camber you want check this out---> Article on gaining extra camber

 

if its positive camber you still want, well...i dunno...might want to wonder why you want positive camber

 

oh yeah id go camber tops over extra length LCA's, but your better off getting a full AE86 strut/coilover (with camber tops) so you can upgrade your shocks while your at it...

xt130 control arms will give u a couple degrees negative camber,

just make sure u get a wheel alignment after cdhangeing anything

if you swap out a set of control arms you shouldnt need a wheel alignment though, unless you fiddle with the tie rods or the arms are out of shape

if you use control arms that are longer or shorter than stock

 

such as useing xt130 arms to replac stock ke70 ones

you will msot certainly need a wheel alignment

Might be a stupid idea here, RA40 Celica I had recomended on toymods.net and also ST141???

 

Apparently RA40 Celica ones are the same as XT130? They are 310mm long (10mm longer than KE arms) I'm trying to get my hands on some now to find out because I can't get any XT130 LCA's.

Here's the RA40 Celica ones I bought today, 315mm (Centre of bush to ball joint).

ke30 arms are the same as XT130(about 10mm longer than ke70) i run them in my ke70

 

10mm should give you 1 more degree of neg camber...

 

next step up is 30mm longer using the sigma with a few small mods, but with these you'll have to space the rear out to stop excessive oversteer :hmm:

ke30 are the same as xt130 ? wish i knew this sooner ive got a pair of ke30s already nolathaned, mind you tho i havent had the time to go mess around with em yet

i have both xt130 arms and a ke30 so ill compare when its daylight

 

but i found out that xt130 arms wil givce u neg camber in a ke30, so they must be longer than standard ke30 arms :D

cheers for having a look i havent gone out and got any arms yet but will be after ive had a few more discussions i guess
