goodluck in keeping that beauty safe. i get sick of people that wreck it for others as i too would love to see this in person as i reckon i probably cream. if they give you trouble mate I'm sure there would be quite a few people on here willing to help you sort them out(me for 1). love the setup wheel wise makes it look tough and just finishes the car :S

update after finally so long.... well as I'm currently been getting dick all work as I'm a roofer cos of the weather, ive finally been active and started some much needed work on my panno. hmm noticed that the front windscreen was put in dodgily by the previous owner i decided what the hell ill take it out. turns out the old owner used half the original seal and alot and i mean ALOT of sikaflex. not good as it has held water in the top of the screen and rusted small sections. at least the sections are not too bad, also the vent part which is welded in place has rusted abit. well ill put update pics up soon of fixing rust when i get my phone back as it was siezed by the :blush:.

hey guys just was wondering if anyone on the gold coast could recommend a panel beater/rust repairer/custom fabricator. Havent really got alot of rust(mainly minor except for 1 or 2 sections but still it aint that bad) in my ae71 panelvan was going to get a friend to do it but i still need to purchase a mig(quite pricey) and i need my ae on the road soon. so i was wondering if anyone could help me?? cheers matt

looking at suspension for my ae71 panelvan. i want to lower it so it sits in the guards and i wanna stiffen the arse end up. just wanna stop the slopyness. i don't have much experience with leaf springs so i just wanna know what some of my options are. cheers matt

worse comes to worse ill just get an aluminium to replace it. but just looking for a cheaper option atm cos i just had to fork out abit on my daily.

hey guys in my efforts to trying to hunt down a ae71 radiator i have found that it can be quite difficult. just was wondering if anyone has used a radiator that has similar dimensions to the stock one and obviously has the top and bottom hose on the same side. any help would be appreciated. cheers matt

yeh mate cheers.. well the smallport is already in a ae86 so no converting needed. we'll see tho cos my mate changes his mind everyday :P. if i don't end up getting the smallport of him, i was leaning towards 4agze now.

cheers mate. yeh my mates just gotta fund his CA conversion, so when he does i get his smallport TWINKY. good thing that hes running the CA cos hes giving me absolutely everything he doesnt need, so i got myself quite a few spare parts if i need them.

hey just found out today that one of my roommates is a boiler maker and nearly got his engineers licence. well he doesnt do that anymore thats why i obviously didnt know. oh well that means custom fabrication work for free whoop whoop. so got a few more plans than first thought and they include : Sunroof :P rollbar (boat anchors very smart concept) removing all the water channels, they rust overtime and smooth is the plan shaved tailgate, and doors custom one piece front bar custom grille so so happy when i found that out today... just gotta buy a mig welder. start pulling the interior apart this w/e.... then maybe panels. fingers crossed not to find anymore rust.

also guys any clue if the ke70 radiator is any different to the ae, theres a small hole in the core.

hey mate well I'm pretty sure you'll need an engineer to look over it and mod plated. correct me if I'm wrong guys. yeh going to start pulling her apart this w/e, thinking of giving the 20v a miss because one of my mates is doing a ca18 conversion to his sprinter so getting his smallport for fairly cheap. its the right price so why not.

really like the roll bar concept mate. looks clean and sexy :P

spent most of 08 trying to find one, gave up and there she was. perfect timing also, had the money and place to put it. shes staying off the road too so ill be sure to post progress pics as i go

is there a difference in ae71 and ke70 radiators?

yeh mate been searching for so long and found a few that were pricey or rusty.. so stoked mate. just happy i finally got my hands on a panelvan being an ae was just the topping on the cake
