Hey all, introduce my new ride. Sure every1 knows it as Benzo's KE20

 

Only got 1 pic atm, and a lack of license as ive been disqualified. In the process of fighting for it back tho!

 

Plan to change somethings on her while its off the road.

 

Keep it simple and nothing to drastic, nicely lowered, stereo, new whitewalls soon and pics!! ive managed to install an air horn so far. La Cucaracha :POSTPICS!:

 

i hope to neaten a few things up on her to bring it back to orginal nick!

 

Some pics of my other car (Holden VP calais), or my old car which will soon be up for sale!!!

Get 1 1/4 inch walls mate, I just got them on my new one and they look alot better.

 

With the mentioned repairs being made she'll be looking sweet.

 

I thought your Calais was a 5L as well for some reason, but it has V6 badges? Meh, anyway if your gonna sell the Vp let me know cos she'd be a sweet daily.

1 and 1/4 eh?? didn't know darel did them to that size, defiantly have sus that. the VPs got a real v8 sound, sounds like no other V6 ive heard.

 

also i've got plans down the track to make a custom centre console and hopefully finish it up matching the rest of the cream interior.

 

ben you been in touch with outlaws about blocks? i forgot to make a deposit and never got around to it...

also ben with 1.5" lowerin blocks in the white KE20, did you get a lean at the back or was it fairly even????

Yeah mate I got my blocks from Outlaws and they said about another dude coming in ordering the exact ones lol

 

With the lean are you talking about on your white one or my new orange one? I havent got em in my new one yet, and expecting a bit of a lean lol, in the white one it was pretty even, only a lil lower at the rear.

Well, a tad of progress since last posting. Managed to install some 2" lowering blocks to much happier ride height. Plastic garments have been painted silver, both front and rear. Below are pictures of the beast cleaned up:D Soon i should have all dings fixed up, and hopefully a license by the 29th of may....

New whitewalls are muuuuuucch needed. once theyr dirty they make the car look bout 1000 times worse IMO :yes: :y:

Looks alot better already mate. The silver looks a lot better than the shitty black ay.

 

Proper ride height looks better as do the KE1* hubbies :y:

 

What mirrors did ya end up getting? Mazda ones?

 

I should have my 11 soon, we have to cruise :yes:

yeah i prefer the ke10 hubbies over the 20 flower style. yeah man no doubt a cruise will be needed. how often u get into town for a cruise? got any pics of the 11 ur gettin? also, did u have to mod the lowering blocks slightly to get a fit? i needed to angle grind a few things for them to fit the plate :yes:

When I had your car I used to cruise down town, bay way, hills etc pretty much every weekend I could but haven't really cruised much in the new one. When I get the 11 I'll be down for many cruises lol.

 

Yeh no one actually make lowering block kits that fit ke20s perfectly, something always has to modified which is a shit. hence why my 11 will just be getting flipped and reset leaves.
