May 22, 200818 yr comment_248203 Hey guys my mate has a 1983 KE70 and we want to change his bulbs to HID's but are unsure sure what bulb size it is, i went to take it out and it looks like its a sealed head light with a H4 plug on the back. where can i get new head lights that you can get that lets you put a H4 bulb in? May 23, 200818 yr comment_248216 Any auto shop should have replacement headlight units. Or you go the full halogen conversion kit, with gives you new semi sealed units (so you can change bulbs) and new globes. Report
May 23, 200818 yr comment_248240 hey man, yeah as sammo said is your mates ke flat front of slanty front? ill assume its flat front, as I'm pretty sure slanty never got sealed beams. you will find that the square light is the same as ALOT of cars, like hilux's, celicas, its a very common size used. even a bunch of non toyota cars have it. so if you head to your wreckers you might be lucky to find some cars with the semi sealed lenses so you can change the bulb to HID if you please. May 23, 200818 yr comment_248244 go to repco or whatever and get brand new semi sealed beams for 200 bucks with everything u need or u can go to the wreckers and get a pair that are from a newer model car that has the same headlights but semi sealed with h4 bulb replacements. and yes, the type of bulb in the new ones will be h4 Report
