apparently those motors have the same problem as 4ages, the key in the crank busts out the harmonic balancer and throws the timing out.

 

it happened to my motor and fuel was on the ground, hard to start etc

 

I was still driving mine and it looked like this:

 

 

I had no probs with starting or fuel leaking all i experienced was some power loss, It only ever happens when you fail to tension the front pulley properly.

my crank pulley was ok, but the key had chewed out the harmonic balancer so much that the key had slipped out of the keyway causing the crank pulley to slip on the crank.

the only things that burn white are water ,atf and brake fliud,the latter is like tear gas ,good prank.oil has a blue colour to it and a unique smell.
