DouggehKE30 Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 (edited) BA HA HA HA HA!!! just don't ask about Peterbilts, zambonis, sidecars, or golf carts again. We already said no. 4.1: Total Investment in Vehicle Can Not Exceed $500: Except for items described in Rules 4.2 and 4.3, the total spent to purchase and prepare any car may not exceed $500.4.1.1: Lame-Ass Rationalizations: Cars that "should be" worth $500 don't count; cars that "were worth $500" before you spent another $2000 to fix them don't count; cars you've owned for 20 years and spent more than $500 on during that time don't count; "it would have been worth $500 if it didn't already have a cage" doesn't count. Five hundred dollars means five hundred frickin' dollars. 6.3: Why Am I Upside-Down? Rule: You're upside-down because you have no business being out on a racetrack. Any driver who puts a car on its roof is out for the rest of the season, beginning immediately. just some things i found funny when i scanned through. I want to go there just to enter this race. sounds like SO much fun. We will never have anything like this in Australia due to stupid C.A.M.S :P: Edited August 4, 2008 by DouggehKE30 Quote

strola Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 Sound very much like the winton fun days and the 6 hour. great cheap motorsport, although there is a little bit more humor in there... :P: Think of most of the rules as humourous ways to post common sense. Remember people common sense is not all that common.. Cheers Quote

irokin Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 NOPE. What is it? Link? Australian Auto Sport Alliance. An alternative to CAMS! QLD raceway runs most of everything they can under AASA and only CAMS sanctioned categories under their licencing etc. Makes racing much more affordable and heaps less of the dumb CAMS rules. Safety standards are still very good and at the time attack days we've only had one person injured (who was driving way too fast in the wet). http://www.australianautosportalliance.com/aasa/ Quote
