styler Posted September 9, 2008 Report Share Posted September 9, 2008 hey trying to suss out all the ke corolla factory wheel specs, have got various specs off the net and off tyre shops databases but they seem to vary a bit and we may have to take wheels off our cars and measure them to get the real deal. the reason for this is that it would be useful to know as the legally specs can be only changed by a certain amount and also going too far interferes with clearance and turning as well as handling. a list to do so far: ke10 ke11 ke15 ke17 ke20 ke25 ke30 ke55 ke70 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
adam-__- Posted September 9, 2008 Report Share Posted September 9, 2008 (edited) 1983 KE70: 13x4.5 32mm offset. Tyres I had on them were 175/70, but I'm not sure if they're the standard size. Felix Posted September 9, 2008 Report Share Posted September 9, 2008 4.5" sounds about right. KE30's came with 13x4.5" rims standard and ke70's have the same rims. The KE70's with the CSX alloys may be a little wider (possibly 5"?). KE10's have 12x4" rims standard. No idea on the offset. In the Motor Vehicle Modifications booklet on the QLD RTA website it states that you can only run tyres 1.3 times wider than the manufacturers widest optional tyre. So for a KE35 which has 155's listed in the owners manual you would be limited to 195's legally. The booklet doesn't state anything about rim width, but says you can run larger diameter rims, so long as the tyre diameter varies by less than +15mm or -26mm.
