Well I'm keeping her for now. pretty sure the car I wanted to buy is sold gah

 

Currently running 14" RA40 stockies on the rear, with gay profile tyres. She likes spinning them alot better than the grippier tyres though haha, this thing has a fair amount of lock believe me

 

Picking up new interior tonight hopefully, will have watanabes on soon. then she'll be overrated

 

Want to lower it still, flip the 3rd leaf in the rear and cut one coil off. Only thing is she handles so well at the moment I not sure if I wanna lower it to find my handling is sacrificed for looks.

 

Needs a tune too, idles right now at about 1100, and is just generally running a tad rough. Still as reliable as ever though!

 

My mate is pretty keen on buying it off of me for what I consider a pretty good price. I may well sell it in the near future, am looking to an upgrade, still sort of a Corolla :P

hhaah i felt bad, so i thought i would comment ya. top car! i think it needs to get dumped on some 13x8s though. are you using std diff btw?

yeh just a standard diff with a "custom" LSD lol

 

it doesn't like spinning grippy tyres at all, really needs a TA23 diff conversion.

Well picked up my interior from Ben (13BT RX2) yesterday to find it is near overrated, the only imperfection is a few inches of the stitching is coming undone on the base of the drivers seat. While I was there he also had a grille of the car, which turned out to be the one I have been looking for and in good condition, if somewhat dirty. I managed to pick up both front seats, top and bottom of rear seat, and the grille for $55. Big thumbs up Ben 13BT RX2 :P :(

 

Looking at getting stitching in the drivers seat fixed just to make it perfect, and I am an apprentice motor trimmer so that works out haha

 

Will get pics up of interior and grille soon

On friday cleaned up and put my interior in. The seats are so overrated, no tears, marks etc and the vinyl is still soft unlike most old vinyl interiors haha just need one of the seams fixed which I'll get onto.

 

Forgot to get the wheel covers off Ben so will have to get them sometime.

 

You actually sit up higher than with the other seats, and your arse slides around but meh

 

If anyone wants my old seats PM me, $20 for the lot, suitable for retrim

 

 

 

Cleaned up the grille a few times as it was so dirty haha and put that on with cable ties again lol

 

If anyone wants my old grille (top) PM me $10 good cond with overrated badge

 

 

 

Will be getting my Watanabes soon, 14x7 -5ish, chuck on some 185/60 Adrenalins which will go on front. The SSR's will be going on the rear. Then it will be getting slammed, Corona LCAS in, might need to give the front guards a light roll I think lol

 

Nardi steerer on its way too, and might get around to wiring up my stezza.

 

I would like to do more, but I can't justify spending the money doing what I originally planned. REally need something that I can chuck parts, tyres etc in the boot, and A/C, EFI wouldn't be too bad either haha

 

So may be for sale in the near future, my mate Prims has first dibs though :yes:

Haha yeah man, she's pretty stout with the 3TC. The paint is pretty good and nice n shiny still, she's only 84,000km though haha. And the interior was out of another low km ke30 so yeh its pretty overrated.

 

I now it will be getting about 2 inches all round, will look alot tougher. Took the tape off the SSR's as me and my mate decided it looked homosexual lol

 

Yeah sold my orange ke20, nickyboy owns it now ay and yeh I am getting at least another ke20 soon. Its pretty good cond with pretty much no rust.

 

But yeah trying to settle down too for a little bit haha

I thought it was funny, on Friday I went down to get a new rocker cover gasket as mine has gone to crap and leaking oil, so went down to the local parts boys and no one there knew what a 3TC engine, a T18 Corolla, or a TE72 was
