Summer is almost here and its getting hotter. This will be my first summer with my rolla and it has no air conditioning. Any recommendations on where to get window tinting preferrably in the eastern suburbs. Also are the back windows on my car going to be a hassle to tint. They are the ones that have a little lever and you push them out ie. they aren't the up and down type... did that make sense to anyone but me?

i had my ke20 done about 18 months back. went through tint professor (in sunshine).

 

my rear windows are like yours, and they just unscrewed them, pulled them out and did them off the car.

 

$200 is what it cost me. (as i worked at a shopping center, i waited til they setup a booth for a week, and managed to talk the guy down from the $250 "special" they had at the time.)

I have all the glass out of my KE30 2 Door at the moment, and took the opportunity to have it tinted a few weeks back.. The best price i got was $230 darkest legal. That was at Tint-a-car in Moorabbin. I should add, that i got a reduced rate because the Moorabbin line was busy, so I got diverted to the Head Office. Normally $265....then she said ummmm $240.....No $230. Sold!

If you want the number for head office and the woman i spoke to, let me know and i'll try and dig it up.

Very happy with both companies workmanship.

I too went to Premier window tinting in dandy, Very happy with their service. It was about 4 years ago when i got my EA done, still see the car driving around Mt Waverly and looks as good the day i got it tinted. There was a special that week, $200 darkest legal, normally cost $400. Its the metallic one i think.. :)

Yeah the tyres are on and so is the carby. Looking and sounding much better. Little bit extra go too. Getting the pcv valve sorted this weekend which will get me a bit more time between oil changes.

 

So whats the go with your car, got a few new goodies from the looks of your signature. Pretty keen to see your car again.

Well the go is simply..... that she really goes now! I can't imagine how great it'll be once we do a full rebuild. What carby did you end up going with? Pretty keen to see yours as well.
