Super Jamie Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 tosco manual is on stewart ford's website, i'd be interested to see if there's anything new (such as the 3k-r atlantic manual which i have some pics of) Quote
irokin Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 That was raced in starlets in japan was it not. Not in formula atlantic. It was toyotas super weapon against the datto sunnys that were winning everything. The 3K capacity was increased to 1293cc and made 180ps @ 9500rpm and max torque of 14kg at 7000rpm (screamer) and sported a lovely dry sump setup... Quote

Super Jamie Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 gee wow, it's the toyota sports corner (note: NOT TRD) manual copied directly from steward ford's website where it has been for several years. stop press everyone time to give credit where credit's due http://drive.to/oldcorollas Quote
Super Jamie Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 i haven't seen them there before? shrug that's some cool shit. two piece engine mounts, CD igniton, 11k tacho and full gauge set, race seats, diff cooler and pump, much more useable gearbox ratios. note the sprung full circle clutch :D wtf compression are they running on that thing? those are some COLD plugs Quote
Super Jamie Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 JESUS LOOK AT THE BRAKES! :) :D :S how do they fit them in 13s? they look HUGE :D Quote
TRD ke70 Posted March 30, 2005 Author Report Posted March 30, 2005 (edited) gee wow, it's the toyota sports corner (note: NOT TRD) manual copied directly from steward ford's website where it has been for several years. stop press everyone time to give credit where credit's due http://drive.to/oldcorollas this was uploaded to K club 3 years ago and to a website in Finland, came from toyota nz as trd manula for k models.i was the one who photo copied it back in 1986, the cover was never copy because i considered it unimportant, wish i had it would have shown that it was in fact a TRD manual, not saying it's the only one made but this shows japanese translation and the rest i've seen is english only. the file size was over 50m but i reconverted it to be uploaded. i've had a look at his website and yes it looks like the same manual(bar the japanese translation) TRD was formally know as tosco. so it is a trd manual. i reckon you should have a closer look at both manuals there's alot missing from stewarts manual. hard to copy things off a website that's not there!!!! <removed not so nice stuff> Edited March 30, 2005 by TRD ke70 Quote
