Yet another reason for me to have the shits with the server hosts poor management practices of late.

 

If you're not getting email notifications this is why:

 

Hotmail:

Yahoo:

.... just drops the emails, no bounce.

 

Others: ???

 

 

I'll try and change to an SMTP server somewhere else but I'm not entirely sure that will work. Failing that it will have to wait until we move to the new server (which is being configured as we speak).

And on a lighter note, at least its not just my yahoo email cracking its nuts with my email.

It would seem someone else has been sending spam or other objectionable material via the server we're hosted on.

 

I've just been looking up a possible solution for some people if you like the idea. I'd probably take the weekend to script it up and integrate it. But......

Haven't had a hotmail email bounce since 11:10am. Doesn't necessarily mean its fixed, but could someone confirm?

i havent recieved any updates to my hotmail, this thread would have at least been updated to notify me...
