I have to wonder why you would downgrade to a 4K from a 4A.

 

T50s are not that hard to come by, and you would have saved yourself an epic amount of time rather than doing what you are doing currently

because it was alot easier and when i was doing the conversion i couldnt find ANY t50's my mate has got like 3 but wont sell them :(

Updates :P

 

I finally did some of the body work on the car i have covered up the rust holes and now have to re mould the left rear gaurd damn rust!!! :P

 

I also am in the middle of paintin the left side of the 2 tone!!!! :P

 

I was also thinkin about puttin some drift teks onto the rolla

Here are a couple of pics of the left side of the near finished 2 tone paint,it's abit dodgy paint was still wet when i took these pics!!! , all i have left is the vent panel in between start of bonnet and windscreen, it looks a little odd with that being the only blue part of the top of the car but oh well

 

this is before i pulled the tape off still looks shit till i fix it need some thinners!!!

 

this is after i pulled the tape off it still has over spray but that was a mate messing round with the paint can before i did it properly :wink:

Not meaning to spoil your fun but i would suggest a white primer before you paint the yellow. Doing this will make the yellow look alot brighter and you wont have to give it so many coats. Yellow is a hard colour to cover in 2, 3 or even 4 coats.

 

Ps, Your mates got 3 t50's?? WTF?? dude, what's he doing with 3 of em? Surely he can sell you one. It looks like an immense amount of work which IMO is a huge waste of time. Get a t50 and chuck a 4ac in.

He just wont sell them I think one is actually a W58 aswell, I have asked him for one ages ago but he said he wants to keep them :hmm: but when the motor comes outta the celica i will definately steal the gearbox outta that then throw the 4a back in :wink:

 

I have decided on my dream wheels lol, there gonna be the ROTA GRID 16x8's, but for the time being it will run on stockies till I can afford to buy the wheels I want off JIP then go up to the 16x8's thats along way down the track yet but!!!!

 

oh btw johno i wont be painting the yellow on the car it will be done propperly

update :P

 

I havnt really done much work to the monster lack of funds due to no real work happening atm :no2: , but i did end up putting my 2 12's into it from my celica tonight they rattle everything in the boot and on the car :P , i have also had the brain wave that i WILL be putting the adm 86 front onto the monster i think it will look phat when it rolls down the street, and you will see it and you will love it mwahhhahahahahaha u will because i said so!!!! :)

 

and 2 morrow i shall be dropping the ae crossmember to make way for the ke crossmember then i will have to start the slow process of rebuilding the "good ol' 4k" haha

nah i just got a drill and re drilled them there not on the car anymore and i was never intending on using them on the street
