I personally don't think that they'll be as good a band as they were while Lane Staley was alive.

 

If you want to hear an awesome Aussie cover band, check out Alice Unchained. They tour once a year and for $20-odd, they're well worth it :bash:

I don't like cover bands, especially when i feel they are taking the piss out of or trying to be 'clever'... I don't find it clever, its rediculous.

 

From what i have seen, Lane Staley made the band, who sings for them now?

And you can't knock a band until you see them. They're pretty damn good.

Yeah true, i guess it is just the 'name'. A negro dude... is he any good? He would bring a new aspect to the band yes?

yea its a pity he died.. but i'v still got alittle hope for them.. as they had 2 singer :D and jerry cantrells still with them ;)

& the new singers name is William DuVall

Yeah Jerry wrote most of the songs,.... well the better ones IMHO anyway. Lane wrote some of the songs like "Angry Chair".....and you can tell :yes: . Awesome singer but!!! ;) Suppose it's really suprising he lasted as long as he did!!! Should have died in his prime like Curt.

 

....speaking of which, Its a bloody wonder Scott Weiland is still alive to! ;)

 

Can't wait for any new material! :D and for the kiddies who have never really heard AIC....
