Which Is Better 4300k Or 5000k Hid's- Whitest Light

Hi

 

Which color temperature puts out the highest quantity/most and whitest light out of 4300K and 5000K bulbs/light??

 

cars a daily driver and I don't want the blue lights

Want to convert the seperate inner high beam light of the standard headlights into a HID light and want to know which color beam globe to get.

 

Is there much extra light output in getting 55W HID lamps over 35 W ones in either the 4300K or 5000K range?

 

Has anyone tried the Phillips +80% halogen globes in their head lights yet?

 

I'm currently running the +30% globes but they are a few years old and could do with a freshen up and was wondering about the +80% that have come out.

reason I'm doing this is that the whole front of my car is plastic and there is nowhere to mount lightforce 240's

4300k are white 5000 are light blue

some HID's start out blue/yellowish when u install them, when as they wear in they go bright white. so don't be pissed if that happens right away. give it a week or so to wear in

4300k in 35W, make sure they're adjusted properly (you'll have to aim them a bit more down than you would normal headlights). Worked fine for me for months and months, never saw any issues from the police.

I've got 6000K in my yellow KE30. Its pretty white, BRIGHT white, not blue.

The higher the "K" number the closer to blue they will be see centreline in diagram

As someone already mentioned. The lower the Kelvin rating the more yellow the light will be and the higher the Kelvin rating the more blue/white it will be.
