ogre6br Posted December 24, 2008 Report Share Posted December 24, 2008 Hi Which color temperature puts out the highest quantity/most and whitest light out of 4300K and 5000K bulbs/light?? cars a daily driver and I don't want the blue lights Want to convert the seperate inner high beam light of the standard headlights into a HID light and want to know which color beam globe to get. Is there much extra light output in getting 55W HID lamps over 35 W ones in either the 4300K or 5000K range? Has anyone tried the Phillips +80% halogen globes in their head lights yet? I'm currently running the +30% globes but they are a few years old and could do with a freshen up and was wondering about the +80% that have come out. if any member on here can supply or has links to good quality kits ( or the phillips +% halogens) please PM me and we can discuss thanks later P reason I'm doing this is that the whole front of my car is plastic and there is nowhere to mount lightforce 240's Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

the_random_hero Posted January 4, 2009 Report Share Posted January 4, 2009 4300k in 35W, make sure they're adjusted properly (you'll have to aim them a bit more down than you would normal headlights).
