Yeah I live in Gatton Qld.

I am only thinking about putting the 70 seats in, but the reason would be for comfort (so i don't stick to the seat when it is hot :hmm: )

OK some good news and some bad news.

Took the radiator in to get recoed and when they flushed it out it turned the radiator into a sieve (spelling)

All the gunk in it must have blocked the holes ;)

So i found a Ke70 auto with a radiator in it and bought it fairly cheap.(just the radiator)

Got it home fitted it all up :cool: and now I think the coil has shat itself ie there is no spark getting to the dizzy :hmm: .

So off that came and I will have to buy a new one i'll also get the resistor aswell.

Now i have to wait longer to go for a drive :hmm:

Put new coil and ballast resitor in today and still no luck. :cool:

I hate not knowing anything about electrics :hmm:

The Gunk in the radiator was probably Chemeweld or something of that nature!

Yeah that is what i was thinking.

OH well shit happens

try any plugs going to the dizzy even the connection to the connectors or if anything has fallen off the coil or sumthing not connected.good luck with it

Silly me it was only the coil lead :yes:

I never thought it was that because it was a new lead as i said before SHIT HAPPENS

So yeah there is an update

 

Picked it up for a measly $20 Just got to sand and paint it gloss black.

and the car was running rough so I got my mechanic mate in and found out the breake booster leaks pretty bad :P

 

So I have to find a cheap booster "fingers crossed".

I got it off "coff coff" Boost cruising.

It is for a Corona but with a little cut here and there it will fit easily.

It has been a busy weekend I found a cheap Booster of Pacman "THANKYOU". :y:

It was my first time fitting one but I got there, I don't know how to bleed the brakes so my mechanic mate will be doing that hopefully this week. :hmm:

I fitted the front splitter. That was easier than I thought to make fit.

I changed my seats to Ke70XX ones for comfort. Just made the ke55 rails fit the 70 seats.

I cut a hole in my dash facia for the stereo (still to be fitted).I didnt want to cut the hole but meh.

I fitted everything else that I have removed since getting her.

She will be ready for rego as soon as I get my mate to bleed the brakes :dance: :dance:

I also fitted a dash mat not made for the car but covers up the rats#!t dash

And that is the spare wheel that I have painted just gotta do the rest. See the brand new tyre. :y:

The brakes have had a flush and working better than ever :locked:

She is ready for rego just gotta get some money. Come on Krudd money.

Took here for a spin around the block she went alright needs a good run to get the cobwebs out.

:yes: does a car need plates officer. Nah nothing happened I live in a small town and it was night time.
