thanks guys.

hey mate, i want those wheels :P, you could prob get from around $500-$1800 with the right buyer.

Given that it's defected and amost likely has to go to Regency, I'd be guessing it's not worth bugger all complete. Probably best parting it out.

You won't make much selling it in parts either... The rims, however, would be worth more than the car as a set.

If the ONLY thing defectable on it is the height of it, I'd just get some higher springs and cheap steelies, sell the wheels seperately

and then sell the car as a whole. It's a pain to part out a car and when you have only half of a car left, no one will want it, except

the scrappers. It might be worthwhile trying to get a RWC if you do it this way. It has only done 145,000 km's remember!

You'd get atleast $500-700 minimum if it runs and drives well. Good luck with it, though...

Them rims are kickass BTW  So is the number plate, haha! :P

Not worth much to me based on the state! if you were in NSW I would have taken it off your hands.

Hrmm, I should've replied to this thread instead of the one over on ns.com. Oh well...

About that 'going through Regency because it's been defected' thing, would you be able to just sell it to someone interstate, someone in Victoria for example? That way all you need to get the car registered is a road worthy certificate and a checkup at VicRoads (different laws in Vic compared to SA so no need to clear defect)? For the road worthy, just get the basic things fixed up and then bring it into VicRoads who don't check it all that much anyway?

Or am I going about it all wrong and the system doesn't work like that or?

Is that you Asher man???

Cheers, Ben.
