i must admit i have done this before and looks killer. but instead of sprinter front panels

i used ae82 panels i fink and just bought a fuked sprinter bumper from wreckers 50 buks.

did have pics but its on the old old computer. ill be doing it again soon so ill post up pics

and show ya what i have done...

 

Did you use AE82 front guards?

 

I have tried to put a ae82 front on my ae71 but the guards were no where near able to fit, There is a picture floating around here somewhere that i posted.

I think you would need to cut the guards half way through the wheel arch and weld to the rear half of a 70 series guard.

 

This would mean it would line up with the door at least. Then mod the front rad support for the front part to line up.

 

I might practice this on a cheap 70, see what I can turn up. Needless to say though, and as has been said before, it was cheap and good it would have been done lots before

do the huge conversion, 86 parts onto a 70, make a 4 door sprinter.

 

 

 

86 parts should go easily onto a 82.

 

 

but who in their right mind wants a front wheel drive anyway?

Just buy a 4 door sprinter :)

why buy a 4 door sprinter when i have a rolla already!!! and i wanna be different instead of another slanty front getting around
