I’m thinking about organising a swap meet for old school Toyota vehicles...

 

Basically just for rare and hard to get parts... probeblly for stuff pre (including)AE86.

 

Thinking maybe hold it in a hall or on an oval.

 

And like advertise it on a few forums, workshops etc

 

I’m in the market for E2# stuff; also have a few bits and pieces others might like...

 

I’m serious about doing something like this, been thinking about organising it for some time...

 

Would like to get some thoughts...

 

What I thought when I went to All Japan Day is maybe next year they could incorporate a swap meet...

Would suit the car show well me thinks... ill drop them a email.

 

Otherwise I'm going to organise my own...

 

And if anyone knows of any swap meets coming up soon let us know

Considering camry's started mid-80's, I'd say you're fresh outta luck on that one :wink:

I'm pretty keen on getting this off the ground... ill make a few emails.

 

ill make some flyers and stuff and give em out to people, workshops, wreckers, notice boards etc

 

maybe get some support from a group or business maybe? Offical Rollaclub Swap Meet?

 

but mainly need to let other forums know as they are the central source for enthusiasts these days.

 

first need to find a place to hold it? community center?

I know Adelaide High School lets outsiders use their hall. Its central for a start and has car parking...

thoughts? ideas?

Would be sweet to be able to buy from/trade with fellow Toyota enthusiasts.

maybe morphettville race course ? heaps of under cover not sure of cost to use the site tho maybe you would be better off using a place that might be free ? such as a church carpark ? id say the 1st event wont be big so there is reason for the site being free.
