Hi guys, thought I would finally join up and say hello!

I've been reading your forums over toyoda's shoulder now for a fair while, and as I am about to purchase my first 'rolla, I thought it prudent to join up myself and become an active member, rather than a ghost.

I have been on 1 rolla club cruise and to 1 photo shoot, and have met a few of the guys down here in Tassie.

That, and been hanging around with yoda for toooo long to avoid this rolla obsession any longer!

Currently I drive a flopsy 'coon in the form of a 1994 EF Falcon GLi sedan. Be assured though, it gets treated as it deserves.

(I've just found out today that I've just about eaten a set of pads AND rotors in about 15,000k's...)

As for what I'm useful for, well, I'm a mean hand with a soldering iron, and seem to have a good handle on anything electrical.

I work as a Systems Engineer for an IT firm here in Launceston.

Not useless at general mechanics, and always willing to have a go with lending a hand!

Oh, and I *might* be known to have a lead foot in the coon on more that one occasion..

So I hope to get to know a few more of you guys, and maybe see you round!

Banshee - out.

Sadly the falcon in my avatar isn't mine :hmm:

I wish mine looked like that!

And to Dan, no I'm keeping the coon as a daily, its too comfy and too nice on the highway. Plus, being auto means I can eat my maccas and drive at the same time! :P

Yep, i know the feeling of being able to eat, drink and drive (or just being able to have my left hand free for fun and interesting things) and not having to worry about shifting gears.

And welcome to the forums

No I just couldn't resist any longer.

And while jumping the 'coon does sound like a good 8 seconds of fun, I can just imagine the pile of twisted metal left afterwards.

Not to mention, I really don't want to cop an airbag to the face!

Maybe you should jump the SC van eh Si?

My diesel van got written off (statutory) in Hobart a couple of months ago. Don't think the boss would be too keen on another one down.

Should make another trip out to Breaky soon actually. :D

I think he meant jump Mud.......

Keen on another trip to beaky, I'll sort out something soon, yeah? We have found a new spot for time trials too...... :D

Sweetness, yeah I think we should have another CPITDD pretty soon. If the Holleybank cruise was anything to go on then I think there's a few cars about that people wouldn't care about taking on gravel etc. :jamie:

...oh and he did say the "SC" van. :D

Yes I did mean the Staging Connection's van.

I have just returned from the dams this afternoon, I detoured on the way back home from Beauty Point for work.

It nice and loose up there. And once again, the coon came out worse for wear, I smashed my own hubcap after it came off my drivers front wheel. Went straight under. Crunch.

Lol.
