dude, there are plenty of conversion kits avaialble that include modified engine mounts to fit a CA18 or SR20 into an AE86... which means with an AE71 crossmember they will suit your KE70.

Have a search around, they do exist. Perhaps Kaizen garage still has them? (he did about 5 years ago)

i'd just avoid doing the S13 suspension.

not to ignore advice here, i'm still looking at all angles... but how heavy are we talking? is it livable? or am i seriously gonna get pissed off and change things later?

i'm only building a drift hack, to smash around in..... and i don't wanna spend massive amounts of cash again...

It will be livable (for want of a better word) if you are only using as a track hack. I used mine on the street and at any sort of low speed turning it was unbearable. It just got heavier and heavier the slower you went.

There are plenty of options other than S13 front suspension, and don't just say you are doing it for the coilovers. There are enough coilovers out there these days you are bound to be able to pick up some second hand AE86 ones for the front and it won't muck up the geometry or the steering feel.

edit: BTW I'm doing s13 suspension and s13 sus works fine (if you don't mind the extra track and camber) if you use all nissan parts eg-x member, coilovers, brakes, hubs, control arms...

search for simonke70's ke70 on ae86 dc he's done s13 suspension and is apparently 1 of the best steerers out there. most the well known names running sr in there ke's have s13 front apparently...

simons sr20 ke70 build thread, well worth a look

funny how theres about 3 people saying not to do it on that forum /\

the geomergy is all on the piss with s13 stuff not because of the longer lower arms but because the there designed to run fwd offset wheels, so the strut (which everything pivots around) is in a different place in regards to the hub which messes everything up, and of course you will detroy wheel bearings because your running 0 offset rims on suspension designed for +35

but you can make anything work by changing driving style and messing with bits but why bother, you'll spend more in devolopment and still not be as good as toyota stuff

just my 2 cents

cool, 4age makes for a really nicely balanced car!

will let you dail it all in and spend the $ on suspension and get the car doing what you want before the sr swap

get into it!!!
