Mine were like that on my s13 but they stopped at the rear bumper all i had was a cat in the exaust system 117db at 7000rpm

I was thinking about making a set up for my KE, just for shits and giggles. Have a feeling it'll look funny cause there's no kit though.

tips i use to run on my system

On my last car it came with a ford xa gt/xb gt style tip. Rectangle with rounded off ends bit like a squished oval. Always got comments and over heard comments of puzzlement to where the cannon tip was cause the car had to have the exhaust at the back of the car, with a look to the side and looking under the arse realizing that the oval shape thing that blended in with the bumper was the exhaust tip

yeah its faaaiiirrlyyy quietish....under normal driving.

 

my exhaust consists of factory 4age manifold and secondaries, 2.25" pipe into high flow cat, then a resonator, then that muffler (huricane straight through) then that "dumper" as you call it. which is just a bent peice of pipe welded onto the end of the muffler.

 

when you get under it it makes a bit of noise, but over 4000 revs i reckon the the engine is louder than the noise coming out the exhaust.
