I got genuine rear quarter rubbers for a KE25/TE27 from Cabe Toyota in the USA last month.

 

Maybe try them?

does anyone know where you can get just the rear quarter seals for a ke10?

quick question will installing new rubbers get rid of air from outside leaking into my car making a constant *wooosh* noise in my ke55?

Is it coming from the door windows? Does your car "leak" when you take it through the carwash? I'd replace the bailey channels before replacing the rubbers.

nah no leaking of water through a wash just when i'm driving and its windy you can hear wind howling through the gaps of my windows, its no biggie just a thought for the future considering i'm installing a sound system in my car and as i'm going to the length of putting dynamat in the roof and under the car carpet might aswell think about getting rid of the wind noise aswell

OK, so I emailed Scott's auto rubbers, they don't do a full rubber kit for a ke10, nor do they do rear quarter rubbers, they just sell you the rubber per metre and you have to mitre the corners. For future reference, it's around $14 p/m.

 

I've just emailed pinchweld to see what they have available and will let you all know when I hear back from them.

I bought a stack of rubber from Scott's for my Datsun 1600 last year. Sort of 90% fit, they are generic sections that will do a whole series of cars.

 

The first set of door rubbers went missing in the mail and he sent a second set for the cost of mailing them, which I thought was very good of him. Didn't say much for the Post Office though!

Yeah, makes you wonder how bloody hard is it to keep track of the mail. This goes to this address, this goes there, etc.

 

At this stage I'm just trying to find out where I can get some rear quarter rubbers for the ke10 (without having to buy a complete rubber kitfrom Rare Spares for $640), everyone I've asked hasn't had them, and if it's just going to be generic pay by the metre rubber from Scott's I may as well just go to Clark Rubber in Bathurst or Dubbo.

Ahh, my bad - I thought they did a lot more custom stuff. Sorry for the false info..

 

Thats good to know Scott's only do generic p/m - I dare say I will be looking for some rubber for my KE10 in the near future so Ill keep an eye on your progress.

I've Scotts' generic bailey channel and the rear boot seal, they are quite good.

Yeah, I'm thinking that if after Rare Spares via Auto One in Orange get back to me and do not do rear quarter rubbers by themselves I will just get the p/m stuff from Scott's.

I don't really want to get something that I have to mitre myself, because I'm very good at stuffing up the simplest things, but if I have to I will....
