demuire Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 Teddy: 32712411 They are probably (AFAIK) the cheapest wreckers near Brisbane, I get a lot of my parts from there. And then on the way back you can stop by ABC Wreckers, and then Salisbury Wreckers. :ninja: Else, Kelly Wrecking in Zilmere's pretty good too... Quote

Teddy Posted January 23, 2004 Author Report Posted January 23, 2004 I havnt done my research latelly, but if i did go and get aircon put in my car, would it be cheaper / more worth wile to find the origonal air con components, or get brand new 1's? P.S - i found a convertor at j-car from 24V to 12 V - the one id need for an aircon, just unda the 1 K mark :D - not worth it ! Quote
demuire Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Why would you need a 24-12V converter??? It would be worth your while to look around the wreckers for a factory setup. Buying new components (whether of factory setup or aftermarket) will never be cheap. Quote
Teddy Posted January 24, 2004 Author Report Posted January 24, 2004 My crazy idea many posts ago about an aircon in my boot. Sounds like a good idea. Thanks demuire, Teddy Quote
Teddy Posted February 11, 2004 Author Report Posted February 11, 2004 Yup, I'm back on the topic ! THis time, its slightly different! When u put the blower on in the ke70, it only comes out the 2 middle vents. how hard is it to set it up so that u get blower air from all 4 vents? (2 sides and 2 middle) ? Cheers Teddy Quote
demuire Posted February 11, 2004 Report Posted February 11, 2004 Not hard. Just need to get some flexible ducting and reduct it. The side vents do vent outside air in though, so if you closed those off (to vent from the fan instead) it might get a little stuffy... Quote
Teddy Posted February 11, 2004 Author Report Posted February 11, 2004 Sounds like too much work - ill leave it how it is ! Quote
Teddy Posted June 8, 2004 Author Report Posted June 8, 2004 Just to put a close to this chapter, Teddy finally got aicon for his corolla. Hehehehehe Quote
