mikeys toy[RL] Posted May 28, 2005 Report Share Posted May 28, 2005 (edited) ok, boys....just bought a 1982 TE72 2 dr sedan 3TC, t50, factory air. it's been sitting 4 years; i put a battery in it, turned the key, and it fired right up. it runs on 3 cylinders, but the compression is good....160-170 on all cylinders. it smokes some until it warms up, the carpet is ruined from the clutch master cylinder leaking, the carb is plugged up. my plan is to lower it 2", do the exhaust (no muffler on it now) weber, extractor, fix the a/c. i LOVE the way david's car turned out....fook's too. the whit with a black hood looks awesome. pics when i get them $250usd. *edit* oh yeah....his name is "Bubba" Edited May 28, 2005 by mikeys toy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mikeys toy[RL] Posted June 13, 2005 Author Report Share Posted June 13, 2005 ok boys, pic tomorrow i just put 250mi on bubba and have come to the conclusion he's a worn out pos..... that's ok, daisy was too when i got her problems; struts are blown, isolators are broken...the strut comes all the way out when i jack it up., the pitman arm is shot allowing 2" of steering play in either direction, the carb is snuffed... super lean primary. but everything works...even the rear defogger Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
