cuzzo Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 you need to plumb it back into your inlet/ intake Quote
Redwarf Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Correct. Can't have it breathing to the atmosphere. Must be plumbed back. Quote
mitch_mac Posted September 20, 2009 Author Report Posted September 20, 2009 alright thats easyyyyyyyy but what about completely blocking it? Quote
mitch_mac Posted September 20, 2009 Author Report Posted September 20, 2009 alright thanks guys fr your help =] justed wanted to clear the air Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 alright thats easyyyyyyyy but what about completely blocking it? If you block it (depending on your PCV system) you'll pressurise your cam/rocker cover, which is not good. Or, it'll reverse the PCV system. Either way, it isn't working in the way that it was designed. Quote
Felix Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 Correct. Can't have it breathing to the atmosphere. Must be plumbed back. Yep. Except on the ke1x series (pre-pollution, pre-ADR's) whose crankcase ventilation system consists of a simple dump pipe which directs any crankcase pressure/fumes down to beside the gearbox. :jamie: Quote
JiP Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 lOl I actually saw a KE20 with one of those dump pipes yesterday. :jamie: Quote
