i read somewhere that the sierra shocks drop the ride height considerably, how much does it drop by? you could always use the lift kit shocks for the sierra to not lose ride height right?

in my experience the sierra shocks are far to stiff for use in old corollas anyway.

had some in my mates ae86 (with about ~6kg) springs.

pain in the butt, shocks so short they were topping out at any opportunity. and my mates car was pretty low as well, heaps lower than my car (in my little picture) and my car is only just legal.

theres plenty of other options out there that are better than sierras.

I'm not even sure why sierras are so "popular" they really don't suit the application at all.

edit: just realised this was an uber old thread that got bumped.....oh well ill leave my reply there now.

Hey guys I know this is an old thread but I used the sierra shocks you are talking about and I found them too stiff and with lowering springs they actually held the car up. I ended up using Hq monro gas shocks which have a much nicer ride and allowed the car to sit even lower. Just my two cents.
