because i'd rather have a cat then have an efi car without one, my vl stank standing behind it and i could barely breath it was that bad, hollowed out cat. going to be using a 100 cell 3.5" metal cat on both the vl and the wagz. and rather have the better chance of passing, instead of paying $1,000 or more to do the test, then fail then have to spend money to get it to hopefully pass then have to spend another $1,000 or more to take the test again. if i win the lotto in wont phase me, but i got zero chance of that cause i don't buy tickets lol.

Ok bit of an update now. Picking the car up from Canberra this weekend :blinks: more then likely have the mrs driving it back down to here on a permit.

Also mind has been changed on the engine. Going with a 4agze and turboing that. Yeah it won't be different. But after alot of research and especially reading this page http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3065346 I found out why everyone goes with the 4agze :lolcry: makes more power on less psi then a bp motor will and also makes about the same torque from .2L smaller motor :D. And yes I do realise that guy has a 20v head. But I now have alot of reasons to go 4agze.

Anyone wanna buy my bp motors? Lol

Lol that's funny :blinks:. My last ke36 cost me $1,500. So I'm happy with getting this one for $500. Also have just left a deposit on bezenders ke36 4ktc wagon :lolcry: which will be for the mrs. Picking that up not this weekend but next

also if someone could point out reason's to stay with the bp motor i probably will. but if it can't handle 20psi and 250rwkw without going forged then i'll most likey go 4agte

6) bp motor's have 2mm larger valves standard over a 4a, 7) there ment to have a much better designed head, 8) i've got 2 motor one that's minus a head for the cost of only $63.

incase you can't tell i've made up my mind and i'm sticking to it this time :D

also wont be doing sweet fa to the vl till after i buy a house so a few years more then likely and i want the corolla finished before i get my license back. and 100% going to change the rear to coil suspension, to rough being as low as it is now on leaf's lol.

ok, change of plans now. just tried one of those stupid easy money online things and lost $280 in just a few hours, so now i'm strapped for cash bad :D

and have also came to realise that no matter how badly i want to get this bp motor in and done, especially with the fact that i've never seen one in an old corolla before. i now need to sell the engine :) when i can afford to i will more then likely go and buy another one to put in, but for now the car will be staying as a 4k, and get a k50.

so if anyone of this site would like the complete motor, plus the spare block they can have it for the $63 i paid for it. i also had to drive to canberra, 4 hour drive for me. to pick them up. so $63 pick up for someone of this site. i'm sure i could get more elsewhere but would love to see it go into an old rolla

also in a few posts above are good points of these motor's listed :)

i'm over the loss. put some vl parts on ebay and remembered Nikki owes me some money lol. so will keep this engine and finish the car as first intended :D
