November 6, 200916 yr Author comment_388904 leaf springs are done.. the very minimal rust will be repaired tomorrow ..weather permiting exhaust will be re-fabricated and modified for more ground clearance and volume will be trying some different shoes on penny ...13's 14's n 15's just cause i can...... the dunlops may be replaced with something a bit more wild..........:y: might even give her a wash n polish if i can be f#cked..:) got a nice setg of 13 inch Mk 111 's here atm....for a polish ...off someone elses ke20 :y: Edited November 6, 200916 yr by mungi mods Report

November 7, 200916 yr Author comment_389254 so.. 15 x 7.5 +2 reverse mesh with a 185/45/15 or 195/40/15...3 inches of dish on a ke20 :yes: unless someone buys em... the 15 x7.5 will need a little roll on the front for overrated legal fitment ( ie all the rim n tyre under the guards).:yes: with a 185/45 will look like a 20 with a 30 series :lol: will be finding tyres tomorrow, i know they are available here , and if i have to i will buy them from W.A :no2: want to keep the rolling diameter small but want a big rim look : :) may sell the dunlops ............................ November 19, 200916 yr Author comment_392253 pulled out the grille and surrounding trims today and gave them a freshen up in a high mettalic silver front drivers guard replaced with a rust free spare then lipped and given a slight flare.... cage is out and off to the powdercoaters for a freshen up and colour change front brakes stripped and rebuilt and new pads will be registered tomorrow if my flatmate ante's up the cash he owes me..... as soon as it's regoed will be going in for a new exhaust system as the on it has will not tuck up enough for ground clearance..:wink: the DunlopMesh are now for sale as i have other plans regarding rimmmmzzzz for this. ordered the new tyres today for this bad boy... 185/45/15's....... :y: will be here in 2 weeks from Japan :y: a couple o' pics.... November 20, 200916 yr Author comment_392518 REGISTERED>>>>>>>>>>>> woo hoo so. because the previous owner did the 4k 5 speed conversion out of his ke35 coupe .the exhaust was incorrect for a 20. it was under the gearbox crossmember and hung down abot 2.5 inches off the floor... when the cars only 70ish mm off the deck it becomes a problem, so i decided to go to the exhaust shop and get it fixed. so they wanted me to buy extractors and get a whole new system fitted ..cost $600 . 3 shop all the same answer. Went around to Jips and grabbed some old exhaust and did it myself fully tucked up now , the front twin pipe off the exhaust manifold has been cut and shut in 2 places and now goes above the crossmember and the reat of the exhaust now runs along the edge of the tranny tunnel. still using rear section of the 55 exhaust but will get a new 2.25 under diff exhaust soon off my "custom" engine Pipe. now i can access driveways etc which is a bonus...:y: may take it up to munchies tonight Edited November 20, 200916 yr by mungi mods Report
