Bamboo
'cause a man wakes up one day and say why the F&*k. Saying that it's my pride 'n' joy. The baby that lives in the garage. I now pursue all that is Japanese! I do know one thing. I never GIVE up. If you start a project, it must be finished.

I love the late model steering wheel. :( Dude, had a very sick 273 when I bought it for 600 bucks. Put a teen in it. The wheel is 'cause I converted it to early dunnydore rack! still got the V8 wheel in the shed. Loved early phoenixs when I was an apprentice, but couldn't afford it. Love factory stock V8 mopar!!!! All the badges/chrome intact on my beast!
Gspec
I hope you kept the original 273. As you probably know, with Mopar, numbers matter. Have you thought of going to COTM with her? P.S. My partner has just seen these pics of your car and she wants to add to our collection. :( Edited April 9, 2010 by Gspec
Bamboo
I hope you kept the original 273. As you probably know, with Mopar, numbers matter. Have you thought of going to COTM with her? P.S. My partner has just seen these pics of your car and she wants to add to our collection. :( 273 is tucked away safe and dry. But it was hammered. It had corroded the timing case behind the waterpump. Very pink oil. Also a late 273 with hydraulic lifters. I drove it home like that. Also had a tranny that was 1st, 2nd and flair. I am actually considering getting rid of it. It takes up the garage, I pay reg and hardly ever drive it, as she who must be obeyed is fond of pointing out. But the car was here before her. I had to strip and clean the capliers last week because the brake fluid had turned to jelly, making them stick. My that was fun on Springvale road. I've also nicked it a few times 'cause its always in the way. As for COTM, when we go away our default car is the landcruiser. So i've considered it but.... I can barely make it to Sandown and its only down the road! And four cars and a motorbike is probably excessive for two people.
ratiara
Sweet looking VE....awesome. Also, 4 cars and a bike is not too many....you're just getting started. We have 5 and a scooter and always looking at what else is around. :bash: Edited April 11, 2010 by ratiara
Gspec
As above. We have 8 cars at the moment. No bikes though. I'm lucky because my other half: A) likes me for who I am. I'm into cars and therefore she's cool with that. She actually picked this house for the huge garage it has. B) she has become a bit of a car fan and now actively gets involved with my hobby. As much i would like for you to sell mw the VE ,I must advise against the selling it. Firstly regardless of whether you drive it or not, while you own it, its making you money. Secondly they are planning on bringing out a pay as you use registration.
