Raven Posted July 4, 2005 Report Posted July 4, 2005 As the topic suggests, i can't get enough travel with the clutch system for my hydraulic clutch conversion to allow me to change gears or even get it into gear. What has everyone else done about this?? Quote
demuire Posted July 4, 2005 Report Posted July 4, 2005 Umm, what exactly is the problem? Have you tried adjusting the pushrod length? Quote
Redwarf Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Yes, I had trouble. I'll get back to you soon. Quote
blown 5k Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 What`s your clutch master cylinder diameter? if its too small it wont provide enough fluid to move the slave cylinder sufficiently to disengauge the clutch or maybe you need to look at changing your leverage ratio on the mastercylinder pushrod ie where you`ve drilled the hole in the pedal move it down lower. Raven Posted July 7, 2005 Author Report Posted July 7, 2005 All fixed. just welded on some extra bits of metal on the hinge part of the pushrod to give me that extra little bit of travel needed. I've used a bolt to allow me to keep the pushrod from the master cylinder inline with the bore (hope that makes sense). Mick. Quote
