gambit4000s
Until recent medical issues, I was employed as a VW/Audi tech for a local independent shop . We built this 1987 VW GTI with a 98 Jetta VR6 swap, Porsche GT3 interior and a few other modifications. Through a few contacts, Matt (my boss) arranged a photoshoot and feature for Eurotuner Magazine while at a Waterfest 15, one of the largest watercooled VW shows in the states. Do you guys get Eurotuner in Australia? Everyone I worked with put in 12 hour days in the shop and 4-8 hours at night. The car was built slowly over a few years, and then gutted, full spray job, detailed and reassembled in 30 days. I don't believe it's mentioned in the article, but this would not have happened without my coworkers and friends Tom and Travis. Thought I would share a few pics, even though its technically not my ride. Eurotuner Feature Edited January 31, 2010 by gambit4000s
