Here's a few options that are "bolt in"

* Early KE30 seats('74-'76) with KE20 rails

* Autotechnica race seats with KE20 rails

Although with the KE30 seats the 'recliner' lever slightly fowls on the rails lever (nothing that a bit of bending wont fix....)

I have also found with the Autotechnica seats that you may need to put a small spacer on the outer side (Between seat & rail) depending on the seat shape.

I have used 2 different styles of Autotechnica seats & only 1 style needed this spacer (only 10-20mm) due to touching the 'B' pillar, therefore restricting seatbelt function.

Hope this helps with your search for comfort......

Cheers

I bought some Autotechnica seats, they fitted but sat too high. And they were a bit wide for me, I prefer a tight seat.

I ended up with Mazda RX7 series v seats, but had to modify the seating mounts. That is, don't line up with original holes. These seats sat a fair bit lower too.

supposedly Suzuki Swift GTi seats are a straight bolt-in

I have a pair of the GTi seats (series1) so I might have to check that out......

As far as KE70 seats go (I forgot those in my earlier post) they need to be the early type because the SlantyKE70/AE71 seats use a different rail setup (they're mounted on the side)

Thanks ill see if i can find some cheap Autotechnica seats, it happened to be coincidence that you replied in this thread, as the car I might be getting seats for is you old KE20 (I'm buying it off Dan) I might see if there are other more subtle bucket seats though.
