vsschris
also i think the springs mite be way to stiff as there made for an el and sport rider what do you guys think?
Grand Master of Awesome
once you chop them the rates will change anyway. why didnt you just buy lowered springs to suit ke70/ae86? and remember, one coil at a time.
vsschris
yeah i got em cheap as second hand. what do u think about the commo spring in the front idea ? il probly just do the right thing and buy proper lowerd springs that are made for the car
anastasios
Don't do the Commodore spring in the front, just do it properly the first time

DearmanKE
for the rears cut the free height to about 250mm and then go from there. i have 235mm height 4.5kg spring in the rear and the guard sits about flush with the tyre also had falcon springs in there before that were about 240mm they sat about the same
Mitch-12
when you shorten the spring the rates get stiffer just do it right and get ke70 springs doin stuuf like chopn ford springs and stuff is just dangerous and stupid
ke71-rolla
Yeah buddy, no need to go chopping already stiffened springs. Consider the weight difference of a falcon and corolla??, then your gonna cut them, and I'm under the assumption they will just get stiffer!! One of my mates bought a ra40 celica, with chopped superlow king springs all round, and man, it does break your back!! (although it is super low and super stiff)
