I'm looking to see what people have done about tail shafts for their conversions.

 

I have a ke55s with a 4age in it with an ae71 t-50 and a RA23 T-series diff. Celica drive shaft is the right length but the gearbox output different size.

 

does anyone know a good place the get a tail shaft made around brisbane or goldcoast?

 

OR is there something I can bolt in?

my mate got his tailshaft modified for his hilux diff conversion at Gibbs Trucks, they are on the gold coast

a good mate of mine works for mal wood automotive in warwick, and they specialise in high performance gearboxes, diffs and tailshafts. i can ask him how much a custom one would be.

I'd try popping the uni joint out and see if you can interchange the yokes if the bearing diameters are the same. Might be a cheap quick fix if you're lucky.

I have a ke30 t50 -> T-series tailshaft minus some unis available in NSW, but postage would suck.
