today i got out and sorted out the passenger front quarter rust hole ;)

not overly impressed with the outcome. but not too bad for a first go

but it will need some smoothing off.

drivers side is on its way...

then ill be on to the rear quarter

progress is slow and time is scarce

but i have a dead line to meet...

then comes the fun part of the mechanical side... ;)

really need to have a week off work so i can get stuck into it

on the plus side some owed money WILL be in my hands this weekend so ill be out to order some parts for the donk

 

ps luc how much would it set me back for a respray? (ill do my best to get it preped)

seems i have this monday and tuesday free this week. so hopefully i should get rust sorted this week and at least the rear in primer so i can get the tail lights back in

got some bog,fire extinguisher and primer today

going to order the parts i need for the engine work this arvo.

so things picking up a bit (except for the chest infection which means i wont be working or goin out side for the next couple days :fuzz: )

mig wasnt working well at all

wasnt feeding the wire through properly and giving me the S**TS

got it working 'better' but then it rained haha

ill probly hire something instead of messing around with this P.O.S!!!

ive at least got all the pieces cut out and ready to go

good news :D

transfered the rolla into my name today.. so I'm now the legal owner

also got the form to get the new plates. probly put them in tomorrow. (SLO-055) :P

and I'm about to head out and try and finish off the welding once i get off here (weather = warm and blue skys here)

holes filled :D now just have to smooth off the welds and skim coat with bog :laff:

started to sand back the paint on the roof to get to the surface rust only to be reminded that me and power tools don't mix :D

ill post some pics up when the power comes back on. battery almost flat on laptop...

ill find something to do that doesnt require power haha
