hey guys iv been a member of this site for a lil while now and never had the time to post up old girl up,

 

well about 2 years ago i bought my ke70 off and old lady pretty much overrated only rust in the rear gaurd behind the mud flap, paint awesome for age,

well i drove it with the old 4k 5sp and i got pretty sick of driving around with my foot flat to the floor just to get anywhere lol, so iv always wanted a ke70 with an sr20det in it, so i thought what the heck. so i sorced a sr20det, gearbox, loom ect and set to work.

so its got:

 

stock sr20det blacktop

s14 radiator

some random fmic sprayed black (stealth) with custom piping

oil cooler relocation kit

oil cooler

s13 gearbox with custom mounts

ke70 engine xmember with welded sr mounts

stock ecu with a plms loom + chip with 4 map setting

dump pipe with 3in into a vlt muffler into 2 2'5in pipes under diff to the rear

custom tailshaft

cut shifter hole since the shifter sits back further

short shifter

extended lca's

ajps extended tierod ends

stock front struts with cut ve commodore springs

short stroke rear shocks with cut ve commodore springs

vl fuel pump

bluebird lift pump

1.5lt surge tank

battery in boot

14x7 konig rewinds

all gaurdes flaired by myself, the fronts are flaird more now (then in the pic)

 

interior

2'5 in tacho

oil pressure gauge

coolant temp gauge

t-18 seats (way more comfy the ke seats)

race steering wheel

full sound system

brakes are stock atm, same as diff, suprisingly it is still holding up

As he's using stock front struts my money would be on none. None yet anyway (hopefully).

yeah mate i love the black intercooler aswell since it sits behind the black grill and looks pretty stealth,

i would love some coilovers or some thing along the lines of that, although the sussy set up now feels real nice for

cut springs i really need some better swaybar setups ect

and shit yeah its heaps fun to drive haha

its held up awesome its crazy i have cained the diff 3rd gear skids n shit and it still hasnt broken, prob been like 2-3 months of driving it

and yet still no noises or anything

the big girl now has a locker,

 

gonna take it out the drags soon to see what it'l run

ran a poor 14.07 at the drags with a shit .8 reaction time, but it was my first time out on the strip :dance:

 

i needz to wind up the boost and shoould crack an easy 13, and more experience!! :yes:
