there's a drift ke70 with a 1uz in it and he drives great.

yeah theres a few of them around na i think ill go something carby like 7k or 4k or ill get a 1600 4ag

going 4age been looking at a few ke10's in the states with them in it definatly the go i think. Is there alot of engineering to be had putting one in it doesn't look to complex but its better to get some advice before jumping in head deep

Good luck getting a 1uz in a ke10. The motor would only JUST fit between the strut towers I reckon. And then it would be so front heavy it'd be only any good as a drag car.

 

7K's came in both carby (7KC) and efi (7KE) forms.

3tc and 5 speed gearbox pretty much straight bolt in? anyone don't it? just got one given to me and think it would be a little ripper of a motor for the ke10?

No its not a bolt In and I personally wouldn't waste my time.

really that bad? i just got it for free and the 4k i have is f@#$ed and missing most important parts. ilooked and the mounts in the t18 don't look much different to the ke10. I'm getting stuck with what to put in it i don't want anything crazy but something that will freak the shit out of the ss an vl turbo and other plastic fantastic crap getting around

A 3tc wont freak the shit out of anyone. And it will be harder than you think.

Go with the 4/5k rebuild with the quad bike carbies a lot cheaper and less stuffing around,check out Thomas build (TOMMYS ke11).
