Hi, i am looking at buying a 4k TOYOTA 63MM NECK RAMFLO FILTER for my ke70 but was just wondering if it would make a real difference?

I reckon it will, but ask rob83ke70 as he fitted one last week when he took the SUs off for a rebuild.

it does a little bit.. not much thou.. but its worth it coz it looks cool and sounds nice

We ran a standard air filter with the big holes cut in the side of the housing for a year or 2, on both the daily and the track car, just moved to a K&N setup cost about $70 aussie, performance is about the same, but love that sucking sound and the fact I can now clean the filter.

HUGE difference over stock airbox on ke55. ke70 airbox is slightly better than ke55, but not *that* great.

 

downside is I live in a shitty cold part of the world and the carburetor actually turned into a block of ice the other morning commuting to work :)

oh, I might add that I've got a few other things done to my engine so its hardly stock - cam, compression, elec ignition, thermofan, extractors, exhaust, and it hauls about 8000rpm.

Ramflos aren't that great from what Ive heard better than stock yeah but there's definitely better options out there like k&n etc.
