Teddy Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 Ya, they are nice. New Sportsivo's have an awesome note to them.. just looking at stock exhaust... gezz... its almost 3" out of exhaust manifold into cat ! :P And, a nice shape. Too bad they are all south African; and to sum it up, pieces of sh*t. But hey, nice for the fact that you get to pay $31K for a new one to last the warranty period (if it lasts), all the warranty recalls, coolant leaking motors, break pads that last 20,000 km, break rotors that are farked by then, upholstery thats always got issues, cheap plastic ~ period. The design quality compared to the Jap built models... omfg. But with that said, the new corolla is a real let down, compared to the previous model; which was really good. Funny how all good things end, with 7 in Toyota. Quote
TOMsGPTurbo Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 you're so coming with me to the next skid pan day :P Quote
Dan Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 My mums got a 03 Rolla Ascent, we redline it and over and never smell petrol... why do you smell it Jamie? They're a powerful little car hey... bit more power than my k's... :P then again what hasn't Quote
Dan Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 what year/model do those rims come stock on? they look like 16's to me... what do u reckon they'd be worth second hand? Quote
Teddy Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 it *MAY* only be the Sth. African models, as they have different upolstry, different fabric lining / different body softeners... etc - so some smells may be more acceptiable to getting through? Who knows.. Quote

ancullen Posted September 1, 2005 Author Report Posted September 1, 2005 It's not a Sportivo Teddy (WAYYY out of my price range). This is an Ascent with the optional extras of Sportivo spoiler, muffler, 15-inch rims, and springs. These are all Toyota factory fit options that come under the Sportivo range of extras. You can get Sportivo extras for your Prado if you want them. Sidewayz1, these rims are still available from your local Toyota dealership. It's just they'd cost a fortune to buy outright without buying a Corolla for them to go on. Quote
