I think they get a vl alt and gut it and swap it into the ke one but I'm not 100% sure

 

 

yeah u can put vl internals in a rolla one its in the electrical section :happy:

 

Fit relays into the light circuit so the switch is not carrying all the current. If you up the current all the time the dip switch will burn out.

 

It makes an amazing difference with the same bulbs.

Update.....

 

So i got around to putting my new guards on the old girl friday night :happy: Turns out u have to pull half the car off to get them on :bash: but was able to put some fish oil in her :wink:

 

Put the new guards and had a problem :blinks: truns out the repo guards don't have a hole for the aerial :bash: so know i don't have radio lol but can still use my ipod :cool:

 

I went about fixing the grill as well but ran into problems grrrr, tried plastic welding it together but it kept going on fire and not melting lol :laff: so i used some cable ties and shes all good plus some cable ties to hold it in lol :lolcry:

 

 

 

So know my next thing is to put a downdrapht webber and bigger exhaust on the old girl and ill be happy :dance:

Ok went out to my local autocross and didnt do to bad got some goods times and had loads of fun :happy:

Ok so i went to the dyno day yesterday :yes: Had a load of fun watching some sick rides go to warp speed :lolcry:

 

Anyway i put the old girl on the dyno and got this.....

 

 

yeah boy got 25.3 out of her lol

 

Know i do have an excuse to mod it lol :lolcry:

To take the old one off:

 

In the middle of the steering wheel there is a plastic toyota emblem.

Get a screwdriver under one edge and pop it out.

Undo the bolt underneath but leave it on a few threads.

Wiggle and pull the wheel, the nut left on will keep it flying off and smashing you in the face.

 

 

Car looks Overrated by the way. Loving it!

haha i did that in my corona, it wouldn't come off so i smacked it and it got me in the forehead, lesson learnt.......

Love it, looks clean and similar to mine :happy:

this was sold to a fella whos putting a turbo gen 3 in it.
