I'm tossing up buying a Seibon CF OEM bonnet and hatch combo for it. Its just so annoying to find old steel parts that need fixing and still will set me back $500. Anyhow, more thought is needed there.

Hit me up if you're gonna order some stuff from them. Might be able to save on shipping.

Yea need a bonnet. Left it up for a year or two and the cats love climbing up it, so under all the dust its scratched to shithouse. That and it weighs a freakin tonne!

Funny thing about this thread is that the body on this thing looks better then half the 86's that have been for sale over the months.

Been collecting parts and working on this when I can.

I just ordered some new genuine Toyota Handbrake cables for it.

Pretty much all the holes the previous owner driller or cut have been closed up, and I've welded up the rust.

I really need to find a hatch and bonnet in Brisbane, or I'm going to end up buying carbon ones from Seibon that will cost me $1500.

I also picked up a halfcut that I can raid a lot of nitty gritty sort of bts from, the bonnet release cable, vents, underdash bracing etc.

Ive got a massive lawnmower box of bits ready to go and be powdercoated, I wonder if the powdercoaters at Langford Metal Industries were flooded out.

So now have a few more bits to put it back together. I've arranged for it to be painted and paid for that, got new handbrake cables, mirrors, radiator cap, timing belt and tensioner, gasket kit for the t50, diff bung and cam seals.

Still need a bonnet, hatch, drivers seat in mooroon, and door trims. Getting there slowly I guess.
