Ae86 Interior Question.

Hi guys, does anyone know offhand if any KE70 or AE71 trims, mainly a radio console, and front centre console will fit in an AE86? Also, from what ive read, the instrument cluster, and wiper/indicator stalks from an AE82 will fit into an AE86. Might try it tomorrow. Thanks, Luke.

Not sure about the console and surround, the 82 wiper/indicator assembly fits but you need to wire it in, I put one into Nelsons car (ae86dc) and it was fairly straight forward, not sure if there is a wiring diagram for it on the net.

wont bolt in but should be easy enough to make it fit.

Didn't see that bit, I can give you a wiring diagram if you take a photo of the front and rear of the 86 cluster.

Ok, instrument cluster is a no. Have to re-wire it all, and make it to fit. Not sure of the benefit, but I'm sure ive seen it done before. Ill try to find a pic.

iv put the ae71 speedo into the ae86 cluster lol, passed rwc too

There was a pretty comprehensive guide of what will swap over on ae86driving club. Unless it was on the old forum and got deleted.

But spend more time searching there than I did or ask if you can't find it and you should get a good list.

From memory though there was very little interiour that swapped from the *E7*'s.

Dibs on your 86 wiper switch! Mine is broken (cracked on the inside) and the knob snapped in half.
