2E has bore x stroke of 73mm x 77.4mm. 4E has 74mm x 77.4mm. So the 4E should rev just ever so slightly better.

Yep, 2E was SOHC 12v, 4E only came with F-head, so DOHC 16-valve.

GIXXERKART FRIGGIN' ROCKS!!!!!!!! I actually meant I want to build more of a single/twin seater buggy thing, mid-engined. It'd probably weigh a fair bit more than 135kgs. And I reckon Gixxerkart would have to have a bike engine for it to weigh that little. Remember a Mini engine is all cast, plus Gixxerkart's motor look air-cooled.

whoever told you that is full of crap

a) no mini engine sounds anything like that

b) the exhaust and intake are on the same side on an A series

c) mini engines aren't twincam

d) this page shows how it was done
