ok just put a 4age with tvis into my ae93

it came out of an ae82 got full wiring loom how eva the dash etc is diff in the ae93 which u will all know

so i have run the engine loom for the 4age into the car and my loom is total diff

i still have the original 4afe loom inside the car so what i need to do is adapt that one to the 4age engine loom

and i have come to a hault as I'm not sure which wire goes where

can some one help with how to adapt the 4age engine loom into the loom inside the ae93

does anyone know where to get a full layout of each harness? ive looked on here but only has the engine diagrams

Don't think you can have an AE82 4age in a AE93 due to emissions.

There are some early AE92's with a 4AGE bigport hey - and how that can create more emissions than a Carby 4AFE you got me.. but might be worth looking into...

the 4afe is efi and i have seen many ae93 with 4age bigport in them

Yeah but I think the engine number will tell the year of the engine and the 93 being the smallport release then I think he may run into dramas, the law certainly is stupid.

 

OP: is the car a AE93 plated AE92 vin?

 

Maybe get a bunch of info together on the tvis 92 and take it into an engineering department and tell them that you wanna do that but with an earlier engine.

Not ADM models though, they were all smallports. It's the imported AE92 FXGTs/Levins that may still have the bigports.

I don't know how different the wiring is in the 4afe for the ecu but if it is the same pinout then you should be able to just use the 4age ecu with the engine loom and use the ae92 body loom, Hiro should be able to tell you what system the 4afe ecu is.
