I've been told numerous times from different guys at my work that it's the sidewall ply's dieing. Quite dangerous to drive on apparently. If we get a car with a tyre like that in for a service the tyre goes straight to the spare.

 

And If my spare is 40 Years old and doesn't hold air? haha

 

Ill get some fresh ones this week.

I had a tyre egg out on me last week, I don't think this wet weather is helping much. It was atleast the size of a tennis ball on the inner edge, about 4" of steering wheel wobble every time that wheel did a revolution.
