Ha, I was going to come out after work yesterday for a few hours but got scared off by the weather. We are hoping to be camp equipped for the next one.

Awesome, we're planning for around the 29th december (new years). Just have to figure out a place.

Flangans was alright, but another night at least cause of the distance.

thoughts, experience, or something nearby fresh water with open fire?

 

not Somerset, I got a big boat so not phased on that aspect

the Bunyas have a good site right next door to the kiosk, as well as many non powered sites along the roads and trails nearby

i like it because you can either rough it up or go powered, right next to civilization.

plenty of hiking trails too
