mhmills Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 (edited) I had this problem when I supercharged my KE70 4k, I just worked around it. :) If I tried to flat stick floor it, it would lag and try to stall. So I just dropped the accelerator halfway then about 1 second later I could drop it flat stick. Edited May 9, 2011 by mhmills Quote

GJM85 Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 Perhaps a cracked distributor cap... but it definately sounds like an ignition issue most likely dizzy related. Quote
ke70dave Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 has anyone ever stuffed with the cam timing? maybe the cam timing is out? if you have checked all of things you have said, might have to start looking at fundamental problems. i had my 4age cam timing out for a few months, i thought the epic induction roar was normal. GJM85 Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 i thought the epic induction roar was normal. Interesting point. But would that cause issues with the exaust note also? Like epic back firing Quote
ke70dave Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 nah if its only out by 1 tooth it can still run fine, just it will sound different. i was out by 1 tooth on each cam on the 4age, so a fair bit, and it still ran. needless to say it ran alot better once i fixed it up! I'm not saying this is the problem, but something to consider perhaps. Quote
