Alexrx7
Need a reverse light plug that goes in to gearbox for a t50 and haven't been able to find one anywhere and when it comes to the horn I wouldn't have a clue how to hook it up. When it comes to car electrics I am as lost as a nun in a pub
Millaz88
Yeh man it's only 2 things just spend 5 mins amd fix them and get a legit one
ke70dave
you don't need the proper reverse light switch plug thing, i belive you can just use "bullet connectors" to connect it. as for the horn, not much to it either. worst case just take it to an auto elecy, wont cost you much at all. horn and reverse lights are the easiest things to get defected for, as they are easy for the cop to check. Get them fixed! and no RWC'er will let that slide, as they are so easy to fix!
BUZ440
Dave is right also, Trying to cut corners will cause massive headaches and with Police the way the are down there (glad I have interstate plates) they will come down hard on you and the business that should pass your RWC if there is inconsistencies, then there is insurance we could go on all day
Alexrx7
Ok so with the reverse light I just attach a positive and negative with bullet connectors and it will work? Does the positive wire need to come from a certain place of the car or it doesn't matter as long as it's 12v?
rian
Try the Tridon website. I'm pretty sure you can get those parts through them, like plugs and switches etc Edited September 5, 2011 by rianwest
19914afc
Yep like above almost no one who does RW will pass a car with something so simple wrong, you have done all the conversion properly and mod plated and you want to be dodgy with something that would be cheap to take to an auto elec. Alexrx7
It's not so simple and cheap to drive an unrego car to an auto elecy. And I had a mechanic that was willing to roadworthy it with no reverse light but he happened to retire a few days ago my luck!! Any way hooked up reverse lights today now for the horn any one know what coulor wires they are from the relay??
ke70dave
i think the horn is just a single wire? there can't be too many wires at the front of the car. and it grounds through the chassis. dunno what colour it is, there is a few wiring diagrams floating around.
