So yeah nick said the engine is a 2S-C wich is in my 1984 corona 2.0L carby, are there any companies that makes parts for them. I'm not very mechanicaly minded so I don't know were to start beside an exaust system.

i've seen one of these cars modified, at broadwater carpark

the guy had modified the stock 2S engine with a cam and headwork and exhaust, and just lowered it neatly on centerline wheels with dark tints. it looked really clean

most people just drop in a 3sge or 3sgte from an importers. or a 1ggte or a 1jz. you see these pop up in magazines every now and then as a really good sleeper

just drop in a 3s? isnt there alot(!) of work involved to turn a 3s to rwd? just lettin the noob know its not as simple as pull it out and in she goes, lots of work.

1g or 1j would be awesome tho and less work

cheese hole what sort of moding are we talking here? do you want a rice mobile that looks like shit (phobia) or do you want a clean car that goes well?

plus the fact you havnt got your p's yet don't you think you should be waiting at least a few months before you start talking extra power/forced induction?

One of my friends down here has a white 84 Corona wogon which runs runs a flat 12 with the original engine worked extensively and turbocharged. 22R motor I'm thinking it was. I'll double check it. It's worked by JPC in Thomastown Victoria.

I'd love to get my hands on a Rona and throw in the good old 1GTTE motor! :P Heapd of play room under the bonnet, so no need to be shy! :)

"HOLY GAY CORONA BATMAN"

What smackhead freak of nature would even consider using such a bonnet!!!

And that bodykit looks like a reject from 2 Fast 2 Furious, and those horrid chrome wheels!!

The headlights are nice :)

awesome, good to hear ur not a ricer, the advice ive been given and i think its pretty good would be to just tidy the car up make sure everythin works, its all clean, and just get all the mechanicals and suspension sorted, just bring the car back to stock, have a reliable car for a while, build up some money and build up parts and do a conversion if you do want more power.

but for now, keep it stock, but tidy it up and undo the years of neglect that cars like these suffer from :)

My opinion is...

1. Clean the car up

2. Get suspension in it and get very used to the way it handles until you are happy with that

3. Start planning your conversion and BRAKES

This means talking to engineers, fabricators and your local transport authority FIRST.

:P

thats what i was tryna say in my verbally inept way :)
