Super Jamie Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 i've seen one of these cars modified, at broadwater carpark the guy had modified the stock 2S engine with a cam and headwork and exhaust, and just lowered it neatly on centerline wheels with dark tints. it looked really clean most people just drop in a 3sge or 3sgte from an importers. or a 1ggte or a 1jz. you see these pop up in magazines every now and then as a really good sleeper Quote
mikeys toy[RL] Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 ummmm.......ya we never got those ova heer Quote

Tiger Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 One of my friends down here has a white 84 Corona wogon which runs runs a flat 12 with the original engine worked extensively and turbocharged. 22R motor I'm thinking it was. I'll double check it. It's worked by JPC in Thomastown Victoria. I'd love to get my hands on a Rona and throw in the good old 1GTTE motor! :P Heapd of play room under the bonnet, so no need to be shy! :) Quote
love ke70 Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 hey nick does the 3s slant the same way as the k motor? like top towards passenger side, or they tilt the other way? Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 "HOLY GAY CORONA BATMAN" What smackhead freak of nature would even consider using such a bonnet!!! And that bodykit looks like a reject from 2 Fast 2 Furious, and those horrid chrome wheels!! The headlights are nice :) Quote
love ke70 Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 hmm i think i need some more experience b4 i take on a 3sg -->rwd project. :) do they have a long stroke giving them the 2ltr capacity and height? or is it completely unrelated? Quote

I want a clean car that runs well lol. And its only 1 month till my P's I was just sorta lookin for somthing to aim for....... Quote
love ke70 Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 I want a clean car that runs well lol. And its only 1 month till my P's I was just sorta lookin for somthing to aim for....... awesome, good to hear ur not a ricer, the advice ive been given and i think its pretty good would be to just tidy the car up make sure everythin works, its all clean, and just get all the mechanicals and suspension sorted, just bring the car back to stock, have a reliable car for a while, build up some money and build up parts and do a conversion if you do want more power. but for now, keep it stock, but tidy it up and undo the years of neglect that cars like these suffer from :) Quote
love ke70 Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 My opinion is... 1. Clean the car up 2. Get suspension in it and get very used to the way it handles until you are happy with that 3. Start planning your conversion and BRAKES This means talking to engineers, fabricators and your local transport authority FIRST. :P thats what i was tryna say in my verbally inept way :) :( Quote
